There’s something quite appealing about QR Codes, maybe because they’re based on a square. Squares are a particularly human concept and don’t really occur in nature, but squares and cubes are very familiar and, even if you don’t notice them, they’re very common in the daily life of most societies.

QR Codes are useful, accessible and currently very popular; they’re like printed or image based hyperlinks and a great way to get and to give information, so we may well be seeing a lot more of them.
